DVDpay™ provides an easy to use, intuitive experience for the viewer:

1. Viewer attempts to watch restricted film and is informed how to obtain the PIN.
2. Viewer users their landline or mobile telephone to request a PIN from the DVDpay™ PIN allocation server.
3. The DVDpay™ server automatically knows the film title the viewer is attempting to watch and calculates the correct unique PIN for the viewer.
4. Viewer enters their unique PIN using their DVD remote control, the PIN is validated by the DVD player in real time and if correct the premium film begins to play automatically.
